After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Paulo Renato Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Paulo Renato Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 16 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. Risca Faca IMT's Paulo Renato Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 minutes of play, Risca Faca IMT's Paulo Renato Prestes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Colombia booed when Risca Faca IMT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Augusto Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Risca Faca IMT's Paulo Renato Prestes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Samuel Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Leopoldo Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Joshua Garrido came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joshua Garrido couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Risca Faca IMT's goalkeeper Boruc Plaski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. 46 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Prestes came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Risca Faca IMT's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Joshua Garrido managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Válbson Negri during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56thth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Risca Faca IMT's Boruc Plaski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Paulo Renato Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Risca Faca IMT's Boruc Plaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 61st minute of play. After 67 played minutes Risca Faca IMT got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Schmidt. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boruc Plaski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 74th minute of play forced Risca Faca IMT's goalkeeper Boruc Plaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Abram Secada came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Secada couldn't finish the play. Santino Seco scored 1-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boruc Plaski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Plaski having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Abram Secada notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Risca Faca IMT's Boruc Plaski. Boruc Plaski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Risca Faca IMT players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Colombia.
