Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Andor Mester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Gusztáv Détári was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szombathelyi Haladás's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. After 9 played minutes Szombathelyi Haladás got a freekick which was hit by Gusztáv Détári. After 10 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andor Mester came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. Mózes Bartha hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andor Mester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Andor Mester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Szombathelyi Haladás getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mózes Bartha hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Andor Mester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Szombathelyi Haladás's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Andor Mester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mózes Bartha in the 30th minute of the match. István Szőlősi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Andor Mester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Andor Mester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Mózes Bartha sent off a good shot on target. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Miralles in the 45th minute of play forced Szombathelyi Haladás's goalkeeper Andor Mester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andor Mester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Sarmiento ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mózes Bartha made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nándor Jászberényi in the 51st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Szombathelyi Haladás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsolt Lendvay to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andor Mester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Szombathelyi Haladás's Mózes Bartha got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Andor Mester made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Szombathelyi Haladás's Andor Mester. Andor Mester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Andor Mester made a huge save. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nándor Jászberényi in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mózes Bartha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Panama's Tomas Berganza got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Andor Mester made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Szombathelyi Haladás booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
