Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Prime Hock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 21st minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prime Hock in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Beckman saved Dragons AFC from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorenzo Beckman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After having played for 33 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Santos. Lorenzo Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Dragons AFC made a substitution. Nicasio Gomesano replaced Natalio Eneto. Lorenzo Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 43rd minute of play. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenzo Beckman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prime Hock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 51st minute of play. Joshua Garrido was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Colombia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lorenzo Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragons AFC's Lorenzo Beckman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Mastache in the 68th minute. Orlando Tafalla's late challenge caught a Dragons AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Jo-Wilfried Schouten came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Secada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenzo Beckman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Abram Secada in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lorenzo Beckman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lorenzo Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Kevin Mastache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Beckman. Dragons AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Mastache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Lorenzo Beckman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 87th minute. Abram Secada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Lorenzo Beckman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Colombia played a much better game than Dragons AFC and deserved their victory. The Dragons AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
