Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrés Casado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Don Blake kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Andrés Casado in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andrés Casado could save by the left post. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elian Müller in the 67th minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrés Casado was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Witomir Zuraw's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
