He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Red Devils reached it. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Van Daelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Pál Mester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabien Van Daelen in the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Fabien Van Daelen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsombor Karsai in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Red Devils were awarded a corner. Roland Nagy went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Roland Nagy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, David Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but David Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Fabien Van Daelen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabien Van Daelen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsombor Karsai, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, David Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Fabien Van Daelens short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 64 played minutes Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Kónya. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Fabien Van Daelen sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Zsombor Karsai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Zsombor Karsai came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 76 minute. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when David Villa came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th play minute Fabien Van Daelen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 0-6. In the 89th match minute, Red Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Kónya to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Red Devils left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezuela.
