No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Lodowy in the 85th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Lodowy, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Izydor Pietrasz was a little too slow when Patricio Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 5-3. Rafael Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stal Rzeszów had played much better football throughout.
