The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Teobaldo Ubarna made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 6th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Joshua Garrido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomas Snow saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Ubarna in the 14th minute of the match. Teobaldo Ubarna took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Teobaldo Ubarna got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Tomas Snow made a huge save. Teobaldo Ubarna might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Ubarna ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tomas Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. Axel Montenegro scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Snow, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by El Renacer del Quijano FC's Teobaldo Ubarna. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Ubarna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teobaldo Ubarna might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Ubarna ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Leandro Laurentzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Nicanor Salvino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Samuel Navarro in the 44 minute of the game. Luis Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teobaldo Ubarna struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Renacer del Quijano FC. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Snow having to make a save. Tomas Snow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 56th minute of the match. Leandro Laurentzi made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Snow made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 65th minute of play forced El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Tomas Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. The supporters of Colombia booed when El Renacer del Quijano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalin Golubarev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the game Pascual Carballar made a throw-in which Kevin Mastache played forward. Tomas Snow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Secada in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Snow prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Kevin Mastache got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomas Snow quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Teobaldo Ubarna took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. The El Renacer del Quijano FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
