The wind increased when Conny Vesterberg made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conny Vesterberg in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fredric Åhman's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. After 68 played minutes Rank 1 got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Åhman. 潘岚铮 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Michael Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Vesterberg in the 79th minute of play. In the 86th minute Conny Vesterberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Rank 1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredric Åhman to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rank 1 booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
