Raul Venegas made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Emilian Ţurlău. The crowd rose to their feet as Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ana Ţugui. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. 21 minutes in the game Jose Sanz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jaime Pardo. Alan Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Manole Tăcutu came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the -BZF- Valea Buzăului fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manole Tăcutu couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute of the match Paraguay got a corner. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Pardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Pardo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ana Ţugui quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's attentive Sabin Cândroveanu managed to snatch the ball when Jose Sanz made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manole Tăcutu to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Ana Ţugui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ana Ţugui saved -BZF- Valea Buzăului from getting behind. After 56 minutes, Jaime Pardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the -BZF- Valea Buzăului players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Jaime Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gelu Jumancă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Escribano scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ana Ţugui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gelu Jumancă. 69 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Ana Ţugui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Prats made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Xavier Zoido however managed to control. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Gelu Jumancă got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ana Ţugui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Escribano in the 80th minute of the match. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. After 88 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jose Sanz. Jose Sanz made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jaime Pardo. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gelu Jumancă in the 92nd minute. Jose Sanz made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hector Covarrubias immediately put the ball in play. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Covarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ana Ţugui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Pardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Paraguay's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Juan Diego Tenorio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Ana Ţugui did a great save. There was no doubt that Paraguay were the better team. Paraguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
