Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eustaquio Turi got the match started through his kick off. Godofredo Urki kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Perico Raya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. CD Boiro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in CD Boiro's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perico Raya came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Perico Raya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perico Raya having to interfere. John Palomar hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Perico Raya. CD Boiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 44 minutes into the match, CD Boiro's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Perico Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Eustaquio Turi sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 52 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Turi in the 53rd minute of the match. Eustaquio Turi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Perico Raya came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 57th minute. Eustaquio Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Perico Raya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Luis Andino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Perico Raya. That made the score 0-5 after 80 minutes of play. In the 84th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perico Raya was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Turi in the 87th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Eustaquio Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ion Fernandez hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ion Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
