Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Sture Hellboms short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Dante Lacasa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 5 minutes into the match, Billesholm's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Axel Kinnman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Axel Kinnman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Axel Kinnman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axel Kinnman. Billesholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 23 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axel Kinnman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Billesholm's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Axel Kinnman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Kinnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Hellbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Cross. If Sten Nordgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sture Hellbom to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Kinnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 67th minute of play forced Billesholm's goalkeeper Axel Kinnman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Danielsson in the 90th minute of play. When Karl-Magnus Ferm fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Billesholm's protests and gave Karl-Magnus Ferm a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Billesholm's Karl-Magnus Ferm got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Billesholm's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Axel Kinnman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Billesholm throughout the match.
