Los Muñes de Don Cuco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santino Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Baron Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Tafalla in the 71st minute of the match. Rien Oss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 89th minute of play forced Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Baron Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Colombia had won after a very even match.
