Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teodoro Gonsalve started the match with the kick off. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Teodoro Gonsalve sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Burkhard Böck. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Koralp Özsevi having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ahmet Enes Spor's Ahmet Koralp Özsevi. Ahmet Koralp Özsevi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burkhard Böck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ahmet Enes Spor's goalkeeper Ahmet Koralp Özsevi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Koralp Özsevi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd match minute, Ahmet Enes Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebati Arıtan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Leonardo Leoz got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Burkhard Böck came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Burkhard Böck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Koralp Özsevi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Burkhard Böck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 64th match minute, Ahmet Enes Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Selim Settar to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Ahmet Koralp Özsevi threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 69 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ahmet Koralp Özsevi, 3-3. 75 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Koralp Özsevi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. With a little luck, Ahmet Enes Spor's Ahmet Koralp Özsevi got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mexico's Alberto Tafalla in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ahmet Enes Spor's goalie prevented a goal. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
