The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Pardo during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jaime Pardo hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Rosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shawshank Prisoners FC's Martin Lagerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Campos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustav Fernström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Fernström having to interfere. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Jaime Pardo off the ground. The supporters of Shawshank Prisoners FC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Pardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Lagerberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Shawshank Prisoners FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Vester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Lagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Thor Heggert made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Martin Lagerberg however managed to control. Martin Lagerbergs short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Jacobo Nores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Vester in the 60th minute of play. Rudolf Rosen struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shawshank Prisoners FC. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martin Lagerberg, made in the 69th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustav Fernström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Jose Sanz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustav Fernström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 77th minute, Martin Lagerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Lagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Martin Lagerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Martin Lagerberg sent off a good shot on target. After 86 played minutes Shawshank Prisoners FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Lagerberg. If Martin Lagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Martin Lagerberg sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Shawshank Prisoners FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Brian Persson hit a great ball. 93 minutes in the game, Martin Lagerberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Shawshank Prisoners FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
