Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 莫凌俊 in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Stanley Wallace ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 陈剑峰 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when 张辉风 got free with Bruno Barrett in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 莫凌俊 in the 28th minute of play. Curacao's Kyle Davies suffered a sore thigh after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Curacao's Peter Black was substituted for Kyle Davies. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Charles Cox a yellow card for diving instead. 陈兴斌 walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After the first half Curacao were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Black made a kick off. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 陈兴斌, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 55 minutes, Peter Black managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curacao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Black was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, 陈兴斌 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 莫凌俊 in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of 【INTER】⊱刺客☣联盟⊰代表队 booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball. 张辉风 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute of the match Charles Cox shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 陈剑峰 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 张辉风 in the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Curacao eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
