In the 27th minute, Shawshank Prisoners FC's Martin Lagerberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Thor Heggert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Vester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Thor Heggert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Rosen. Thor Heggert was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Shawshank Prisoners FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Shawshank Prisoners FC's Thor Heggert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 5-0 after 45 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Lagerberg made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Lagerberg couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Martin Lagerberg made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Rudolf Rosen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Shawshank Prisoners FC's Rudolf Rosen. But to his dismay, Rudolf Rosen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Tamayo during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Simon Vester blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. Martin Lagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Vester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rudolf Rosen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Shawshank Prisoners FC fully deserved thier win.
