Matei Bogatu came out of the goal and Viorel Zgîrţa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basarab Bântu was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Mugurel Donecea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Veveritele Ucigase -MM- and the minerul -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, one of Veveritele Ucigase -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Veveritele Ucigase -MM-. Matei Bogatu went to the wrong direction when Grigore Moscu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionel Ghiciușca got free with Remus Marchiș in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Remus Marchiș successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 60th minute Basarab Bântu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Marchiș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Zgîrţa came free, but Matei Bogatu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Veveritele Ucigase -MM- defense, Viorel Zgîrţa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Bogatu. The Veveritele Ucigase -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Bogatu should have stopped the shot. minerul -MM-'s Viorel Zgîrţa got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Veveritele Ucigase -MM- getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Mugurel Manafu hit a great ball. Cristi Eftimescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Bogatu having to interfere. Ion Muntian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Remus Marchiș made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Cristi Eftimescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matei Bogatu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Codrin Roșeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Matei Bogatu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Codrin Roșeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Zgîrţa took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matei Bogatu. Matei Bogatu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.
