Arabesque -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victor Arosculesei in the 6th minute. Victor Arosculesei made a great header on Arabesque -MM-'s corner, it was just that Steaua Somcuta MM's Matei Rotariu managed to reach the ball for a save. Matei Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Stoicescu in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Steaua Somcuta MM's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Prunaru came free, but Matei Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matei Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iacob Stoicescu's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Petru Cristocea struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Matei Rotariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arabesque -MM-. Dacian Săvulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Comișel having to interfere. A collision led to Steaua Somcuta MM getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Irinel Răuțchi hit a great ball. Matei Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Stoicescu in the 24th minute of the match. Adam Macri might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matei Rotariu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Macri ran back to his position shaking his head. Cezar Prunaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the game, Iacob Stoicescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Matei Rotariu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iacob Stoicescu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Matei Rotariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arabesque -MM-. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Prunaru in the 36th minute of play forced Steaua Somcuta MM's goalkeeper Matei Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Iacob Stoicescu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Matei Rotariu. After 42 minutes of play, Arabesque -MM-'s Cezar Prunaru made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matei Rotariu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Iacob Stoicescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arabesque -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Pitiș to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Stoicescu in the 59th minute of play forced Steaua Somcuta MM's goalkeeper Matei Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Rotariu made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Iacob Stoicescu sent off a good shot on target. Steaua Somcuta MM's Matei Rotariu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Steaua Somcuta MM from getting a goal against them. Adam Macri kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Iacob Stoicescu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Steaua Somcuta MM's Matei Rotariu. Matei Rotariu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adam Macri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Rotariu having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Iacob Stoicescu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 81st minute Adam Macri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matei Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Macri, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Arabesque -MM-'s Iacob Stoicescu in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Steaua Somcuta MM's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Macri in the 85th minute of play forced Steaua Somcuta MM's goalkeeper Matei Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iacob Stoicescu in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matei Rotariu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iacob Stoicescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matei Rotariu having to make a save. In the 89th minute, Steaua Somcuta MM's Irinel Răuțchi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Irinel Răuțchi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Steaua Somcuta MM protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Irinel Răuțchi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Steaua Somcuta MM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arabesque -MM-:s goal. The goalkeeper, Matei Rotariu, was totally fooled by Arabesque -MM-'s Victor Arosculesei, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 94th minute, Cezar Prunaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matei Rotariu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After a rather tough play, Arabesque -MM-'s Adam Macri got a free kick in the 97th minute. 99 minutes into the game, Cezar Prunaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Matei Rotariu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Arabesque -MM- could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Steaua Somcuta MM throughout the match.
