In the 19th minute Sergiu Golescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Marchiș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, minerul -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Zieba came free, but Remus Marchiș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Zieba in the 29th minute of play forced minerul -MM-'s goalkeeper Remus Marchiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remus Marchiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Golescu in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Radomir Zieba notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of minerul -MM-'s Remus Marchiș. Remus Marchiș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was a penalty for minerul -MM-! minerul -MM-'s Remus Marchiș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Ţintă in the 45th minute of play. Remus Marchiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Păun in the 46th minute of the match. Remus Marchiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Ţintă, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The minerul -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Scorpions -MM- were winning 1-4.

A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alexandru Zăvoiu hit a great ball. Remus Marchiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Zieba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costel Ţintă's late challenge caught a minerul -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costel Ţintă helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Costel Ţintă got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Costel Ţintă made a precise shot to the right of Remus Marchiș. minerul -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. With a little luck, minerul -MM-'s Remus Marchiș got control of the ball when Mihai Stoleru tried to sneak it across the goal line. The minerul -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remus Marchiș should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the game, Costel Ţintă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-8. Remus Marchiș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Scorpions -MM-'s Remus Marchiș threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexandru Zăvoiu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, minerul -MM-'s Remus Marchiș got control of the ball when Radomir Zieba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Avram Golescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Bădescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Claudiu Bădescu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Cornel Giuverdea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Remus Marchiș. minerul -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
