Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valer Uduleanu in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Marchiș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute Valer Uduleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Marchiș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Marchiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Uduleanu in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, minerul -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Vintilă Hălmăgeanu came free, but Remus Marchiș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to minerul -MM- getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Valer Hăulică hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, minerul -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Brânzaru to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Valer Uduleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Marchiș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Uduleanu in the 31st minute of play forced minerul -MM-'s goalkeeper Remus Marchiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remus Marchiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Boldur in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Boldur in the 38th minute of play forced minerul -MM-'s goalkeeper Remus Marchiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remus Marchiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Boldur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes minerul -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Eftimescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Boldur in the 44th minute of play forced minerul -MM-'s goalkeeper Remus Marchiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, minerul -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Bădescu to maneuver through the defense. Bobby Fischer hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Viorel Zgîrţa made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Hălmăgeanu. After 55 played minutes minerul -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Valer Hăulică. With a little luck, minerul -MM-'s Remus Marchiș got control of the ball when Eugen Boldur tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Godeanu. Cristi Eftimescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dino Zoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Claudiu Bădescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Marchiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Uduleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugen Boldur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Remus Marchiș. That made the score 1-1 in the 74 minute of play. With a little luck, minerul -MM-'s Remus Marchiș got control of the ball when Valer Uduleanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valer Uduleanu in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Remus Marchiș, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cormoranii -MM-'s Marcel Vulpe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Remus Marchiș in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Remus Marchiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Hălmăgeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes David Ologu rounded minerul -MM-'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Remus Marchiș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugen Boldur in the 94th minute. The minerul -MM- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cormoranii -MM-'s performance. The match ended with a win for Cormoranii -MM-.
