The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Prunis MM's Florin Cumpan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matei Rotariu. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Sol Crowther managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Prunis MM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sol Crowther was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matei Rotariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florin Cumpan in the 12th minute. Leontin Petrulean's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matei Rotariu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Steaua Somcuta MM's Matei Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Braru in the 21st minute of play. Răzvan Mustață sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Pitiș kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Răzvan Mustață got free with Matei Rotariu in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute Leontin Petrulean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Steaua Somcuta MM's Matei Rotariu got control of the ball when Florin Cumpan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Sol Crowther left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Prunis MM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. AFC Prunis MM's Sol Crowther got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Sol Crowther managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Prunis MM's supporters rose to their feet, but Sol Crowther was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matei Rotariu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Leontin Petrulean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Prunis MM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 44th minute of the match, Gigi Pacurar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matei Rotariu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Matei Rotariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leontin Petrulean in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Gheorghe Ţopescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Matei Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Mustață, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the game, AFC Prunis MM's Sol Crowther nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Rotariu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 59 minutes into the match, Steaua Somcuta MM's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Cumpan came free, but Matei Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leontin Petrulean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Matei Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matei Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Steaua Somcuta MM booed when AFC Prunis MM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Mustață didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matei Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Cumpan in the 70th minute of the match. Leontin Petrulean scored 8-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matei Rotariu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Apa Panter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Unciuleanu in the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Steaua Somcuta MM defense, Leontin Petrulean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Rotariu. The Steaua Somcuta MM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Rotariu should have stopped the shot. AFC Prunis MM made a substitution. Ionel Fundătoreanu replaced Leontin Petrulean. 89 minutes into the game, Ionel Fundătoreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Matei Rotariu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC Prunis MM made a substitution. Narcis Ţintă replaced Răzvan Mustață. After 93 minutes of play, AFC Prunis MM's Sol Crowther made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matei Rotariu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the AFC Prunis MM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
