In the 2nd minute Cezar Prunaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Marchiș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Iacob Stoicescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remus Marchiș was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 7th minute Iacob Stoicescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Marchiș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Marchiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Prunaru in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, minerul -MM-'s Sandu Brânzaru got a free kick in the 10th minute. Remus Marchiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Stoicescu in the 13th minute of the match. minerul -MM-'s Remus Marchiș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Prunaru in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Iacob Stoicescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Remus Marchiș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute, Ion Aanicăi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arabesque -MM-'s Albert Comișel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristi Eftimescu in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Macri in the 26th minute of play forced minerul -MM-'s goalkeeper Remus Marchiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, minerul -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Prunaru came free, but Remus Marchiș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, minerul -MM-'s Viorel Zgîrţa got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Prunaru in the 44th minute of play forced minerul -MM-'s goalkeeper Remus Marchiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viorel Zgîrţa made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cezar Prunaru got free with Remus Marchiș in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Iacob Stoicescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Remus Marchiș. That made the score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. Valer Hăulică kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Arabesque -MM-'s Victor Arosculesei got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remus Marchiș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezar Prunaru in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leontin Cartiș during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Arabesque -MM- booed when minerul -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Cartiș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remus Marchiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Stoicescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Viorel Zgîrţa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes of play, minerul -MM-'s Cristi Eftimescu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Comișel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Cristi Eftimescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristi Eftimescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albert Comișel having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Arabesque -MM-'s Adam Macri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remus Marchiș. Remus Marchiș yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Cezar Prunaru took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remus Marchiș. Remus Marchiș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 93 minutes into the game, Cezar Prunaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Remus Marchiș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arabesque -MM-'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
