In the 32nd minute of the match, George Pitiș tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Avram Golescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Steaua Somcuta MM booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Tinu didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when George Pitiș made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Tony Dobos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matei Rotariu skillfully saved the ball.
