In the 11th minute Valer Uduleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Steaua Somcuta MM's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Uduleanu came free, but Matei Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valer Uduleanu scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matei Rotariu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matei Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Godeanu in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Eugen Boldur made a precise shot to the right of Matei Rotariu. Steaua Somcuta MM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The supporters of Cormoranii -MM- booed when Steaua Somcuta MM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Prisecaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes, Valer Uduleanu made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Steaua Somcuta MM's Matei Rotariu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Valer Uduleanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th match minute, Steaua Somcuta MM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Zdrehuş to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Steaua Somcuta MM's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Diaconu came free, but Matei Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cormoranii -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Vulpe in the 32nd minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Apolo Foro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cormoranii -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Foro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Valer Uduleanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cormoranii -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After some careless play in the Steaua Somcuta MM defense, Eugen Boldur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Rotariu. The Steaua Somcuta MM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Rotariu should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Eugen Boldur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matei Rotariu. Steaua Somcuta MM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugen Boldur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Cormoranii -MM-'s Eugen Boldur got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Pitiș to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Cormoranii -MM-'s Costel Diaconu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Rotariu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Valer Uduleanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matei Rotariu having to make a save. In the 57th minute, Cormoranii -MM-'s Eugen Boldur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matei Rotariu. Matei Rotariu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Cormoranii -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Vulpe in the 63rd minute. 63 minutes into the game, George Pitiș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steaua Somcuta MM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cormoranii -MM- the free kick. In the 63rd minute, George Pitiș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cormoranii -MM-'s Costel Diaconu got a free kick in the 66th minute. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Săvulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Eugen Boldur made a precise shot to the right of Matei Rotariu. Steaua Somcuta MM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Steaua Somcuta MM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Eugen Boldur scored to the left of an out of position Matei Rotariu, making the score, 0-12. The audience was convinced that Valer Uduleanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matei Rotariu was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Matei Rotariu was a little too slow when Valer Uduleanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-14. When Valer Uduleanu in the 87th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Matei Rotariu kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-15 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Valer Uduleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Costel Diaconu scored 0-16 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matei Rotariu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Cormoranii -MM- could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Steaua Somcuta MM throughout the match.
