Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The River Plate ® 9-12 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo-Enrique Escobar should have stopped the shot. River Plate ® 9-12's Pablo-Enrique Escobar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Baraquiel in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Depor Alex Return's zone, Muhammet Ökten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Checa came out of the goal and Muhammet Ökten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
