In the 39th minute, Amado Ba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Taurino Caraballo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The supporters of Ajax Colombiano booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Maseda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Ba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Taurino Caraballo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joppe Hvenegaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Taurino Caraballo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Taurino Caraballo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Amado Ba sent off a good shot on target. Leones FC's Taurino Caraballo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivon Gasca in the 92nd minute of play. The Leones FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ajax Colombiano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
