The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhammet Ökten in the 3rd minute of play. Antonio Di Natale made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Medero Gadea immediately put the ball in play. In the 16th minute Muhammet Ökten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Lohitzun might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grzegorz Siekierski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Lohitzun ran back to his position shaking his head. Grzegorz Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Lohitzun in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Muhammet Ökten came free, but Grzegorz Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, River Plate ® 9-12's Pablo-Enrique Escobar got control of the ball when Edin Džeko tried to sneak it across the goal line. GeRaÇãO-83's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr in the 25th minute. Edin Džeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate ® 9-12's goalkeeper Pablo-Enrique Escobar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo-Enrique Escobar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GeRaÇãO-83 were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after River Plate ® 9-12's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr took the corner. The corner ended in Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but River Plate ® 9-12's Pablo-Enrique Escobar did a great save. Pablo-Enrique Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medero Gadea in the 43rd minute of the match.

In the 52nd minute Medero Gadea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo-Enrique Escobar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. River Plate ® 9-12's Pablo-Enrique Escobar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 55th minute of play. Grzegorz Siekierski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Lohitzun in the 56th minute. GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save GeRaÇãO-83 from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate ® 9-12's zone, Edin Džeko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo-Enrique Escobar came out of the goal and Edin Džeko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Edin Džeko notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of River Plate ® 9-12's Pablo-Enrique Escobar. Pablo-Enrique Escobar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grzegorz Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elián Jazmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Pablo-Enrique Escobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Cristofor in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Cristofor in the 71st minute of play forced River Plate ® 9-12's goalkeeper Pablo-Enrique Escobar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Edin Džeko made a precise shot to the right of Pablo-Enrique Escobar. River Plate ® 9-12's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. River Plate ® 9-12's Remigio Salbatore was substituted for Placido Florian. With an all-out effort, River Plate ® 9-12's Grzegorz Siekierski threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rollin Stones, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elián Jazmin kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Lindo Pitol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when River Plate ® 9-12 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lindo Pitol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, GeRaÇãO-83's Medero Gadea got a free kick in the 96th minute. GeRaÇãO-83 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
