Maxim Fința's late challenge caught a Piratas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxim Fința helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Piratas FC's Lisandro Claude ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Horea Hurmuzache. Horea Hurmuzache yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Teodoro Casomiro hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Ryszard Borcz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Precioso struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Horea Hurmuzache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piratas FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
