Damian Precioso started the match with the kick off. Tancredo Erce hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Amadeo Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piratas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Francesco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Piratas FC's attentive David Aimar managed to snatch the ball when Xabel Oquerruri made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Sendoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Florentino Sendoa got a free kick in the 19th minute. Taurino Caraballo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Martxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes, Nicollao Ovies mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the Piratas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicollao Ovies to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Alvaro Martxot got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Folle in the 29th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Valentin Folle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Gaufred was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leones FC's goalkeeper Taurino Caraballo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Lisandro Claude's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taurino Caraballo was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Victorino Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloisio Munet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Gaufred made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Lugo Manes sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aloisio Munet to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Maseda to maneuver through the defense. Damian Precioso scored 1-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Taurino Caraballo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 65 minutes, Alvaro Martxot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piratas FC and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Martxot. If Amadeo Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Francesco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 69th playminute. 1-3 became the score in the 75th minute when Damian Precioso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Leones FC's Taurino Caraballo got control of the ball when Amadeo Francesco tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alvaro Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Francesco in the 86th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Taurino Caraballo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Piratas FC's Amadeo Francesco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Taurino Caraballo. Taurino Caraballo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Taurino Caraballo came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Piratas FC's Amadeo Francesco. But to his dismay, Amadeo Francesco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After 93 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Tancredo Erce. Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Folle in the 96th minute of play. Valentin Folle spun around in front of the goal 96 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Piratas FC's goal. When the final whistle sounded Piratas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Leones FC.
