Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Medero Gadea took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 4th minute of play forced Atlético Municipal's goalkeeper Marz Arratia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 minutes, Bobby Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Municipal and the GeRaÇãO-83 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when Atlético Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edin Džeko took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marz Arratia. Marz Arratia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the GeRaÇãO-83 defense, Bobby Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grzegorz Siekierski. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grzegorz Siekierski should have stopped the shot. Silas de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marz Arratia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marz Arratia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 28th minute of play. Llanos Vinegra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Grzegorz Siekierski made a huge save. With a little luck, GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski got control of the ball when Bobby Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when Atlético Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Albalate didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marz Arratia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Atlético Municipal's Marz Arratia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Bobby Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luiz Fabiano Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Cruz came free, but Grzegorz Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Hoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Grzegorz Siekierski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayetano Hoa went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Grzegorz Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txomin Almaraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Txomin Almaraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grzegorz Siekierski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Atlético Municipal's Maxin Valonga was substituted for Cayetano Hoa. Marz Arratia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Maxin Valonga came free, but Grzegorz Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes GeRaÇãO-83's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kinsen Calzado who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Kinsen Calzado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Grzegorz Siekierski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 72 minutes of play, Atlético Municipal's Txomin Almaraz made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grzegorz Siekierski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grzegorz Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Che Feliciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GeRaÇãO-83's attentive Silas de Lima managed to snatch the ball when Kinsen Calzado made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Edin Džeko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marz Arratia. The goal made the score 4-3. Edin Džeko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Marz Arratia made a huge save. GeRaÇãO-83's Silas de Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marz Arratia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Atlético Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Marz Arratia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Municipal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
