Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Trinca took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Xesc Rallo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Riemannian fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xesc Rallo couldn't finish the play. Riemannian's Severino Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmerich Hatschek in the 11th minute of play. Severino Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilário Malheiro in the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xesc Rallo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albérico Igrejas saved Sport Maia from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Sport Maia's goal looked a bit too open when Xesc Rallo came free, but Albérico Igrejas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xesc Rallo in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albérico Igrejas saved Sport Maia from getting behind. In the 24thth minute of the game Hilário Malheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riemannian's Severino Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severino Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lavallén Pelon in the 28th minute of play. Xesc Rallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute, Casado Bernal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Xesc Rallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xesc Rallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riemannian's goalkeeper Severino Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xesc Rallo made a kick off. Severino Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmerich Hatschek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmerich Hatschek in the 54th minute of play forced Riemannian's goalkeeper Severino Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Riemannian's Timo Climent got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Teves in the 58th minute of play forced Riemannian's goalkeeper Severino Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albérico Igrejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Campos in the 61st minute of the match. When Silvano Sánchez fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riemannian's protests and gave Silvano Sánchez a yellow card for diving instead. Silvano Sánchez hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Riemannian's Severino Fernandez got control of the ball when Hilário Malheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Campos in the 67th minute of play forced Sport Maia's goalkeeper Albérico Igrejas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Maia's goalkeeper Albérico Igrejas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Riemannian's Severino Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Riemannian from getting a goal against them. After 72 played minutes Riemannian got a freekick which was hit by Roi Abril. Riemannian's Severino Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Trinca in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Xesc Rallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riemannian's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xesc Rallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Hilário Malheiro sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Sport Maia getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Lavallén Pelon hit a great ball. Riemannian's Xesc Rallo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sport Maia. If Beltran Tormes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albérico Igrejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xesc Rallo in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Francisco Trinca made a precise shot to the right of Severino Fernandez. Riemannian's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Sport Maia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sport Maia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
