An unexpectedly hard shot by Laerte Favoretto in the 9th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Du Yuan Chao came free, but Remigio Valerón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match LVCVS AVGVSTI got a corner. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Venancio Olayo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Venancio Olayo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Remigio Valerón did a great save. Julio Alacuart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Rosario Escarza made a huge save. In the 15th minute Jakes Vila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Escarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosario Escarza came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Laerte Favoretto. But to his dismay, Laerte Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laerte Favoretto got free with Rosario Escarza in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 1-1 became the score in the 23rd minute when Ronny Skytt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Remigio Valerón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Chano in the 25th minute of play. Remigio Valerón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Skytt in the 30th minute of the match. Baldomero Chano kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Remigio Valerón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Chano in the 33rd minute of play. Du Yuan Chao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Valerón having to make a save. Remigio Valerón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Du Yuan Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Valerón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Valerón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronny Skytt went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Remigio Valerón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Chano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LVCVS AVGVSTI were winning 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakes Vila to strike the kick off in the second half. Du Yuan Chao struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Remigio Valerón didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LVCVS AVGVSTI. Du Yuan Chao was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. LVCVS AVGVSTI's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Remigio Valerón managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when LVCVS AVGVSTI's Du Yuan Chao fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Remigio Valerón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO from getting a goal against them. Rosario Escarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakes Vila, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 67th match minute, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazcano Mendez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Ucero in the 87th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosario Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Ucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosario Escarza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ildefonso Ucero went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LVCVS AVGVSTI's performance. The match ended with a win for LVCVS AVGVSTI.
