The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gheorghe Birișu during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Gheorghe Birișu hit a great ball. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Marius Niculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Alexe in the 8th minute of play. If Niculae Şantău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC BRADUL -MM- booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cédric Payen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Minerul Baita -MM- from getting a goal against them. Marius Niculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Georgescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marius Niculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Georgescu in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Pantiș got free with Nistor Maghiar in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nistor Maghiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Vlădoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, FC BRADUL -MM-'s Edu Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nistor Maghiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Vali Papaiani almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar did a great save. If Edu Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Gigel Pașcalău was substituted for Eusebiu Fânaru. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dudu Georgescu was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, FC BRADUL -MM-'s Marius Niculescu got control of the ball when Dudu Georgescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurențiu Vlădoiu couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Costel Pacuraru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Marius Niculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cédric Payen in the 68th minute of play. After 76 minutes, Gordon Miner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minerul Baita -MM- and the FC BRADUL -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gordon Miner kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gordon Miner hit a great ball. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ionuț Vasiliu was substituted for Gordon Miner. Costel Pacuraru struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nistor Maghiar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Costel Pacuraru charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costel Pacuraru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Shearer in the 96th minute of play forced FC BRADUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Marius Niculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC BRADUL -MM- players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
