FC BRADUL -MM-'s Marius Niculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Grau in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Grau in the 9th minute of play forced FC BRADUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Marius Niculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when FC BRADUL -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Papaiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marius Niculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 19th minute of play. Zhao Sen Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Niculescu having to interfere. In the 41st minute Manuel Pantiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Chiuzbaian was a little too slow when Edu Ramos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0.

The wind increased when Zhao Sen Yang made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Sen Yang in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marius Niculescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zhao Sen Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marius Niculescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, FC BRADUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but Marius Niculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Dorin Cârțan was substituted for Vali Papaiani. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Cârțan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Marius Niculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Grau, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
