Thomás Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Vătafu came free, but Thomás Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannes Albäck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aron Zgrăbunţa in the 24th minute. Thomás Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Urdin in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Ernest Petru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ the free kick. The goalkeeper, Hannes Albäck, was totally fooled by ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Ernest Petru, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Urdăreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the match, Oskar Skoglund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thomás Linares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thomás Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Urdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Hannes Albäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Zgrăbunţa in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match, Oskar Skoglund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thomás Linares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renos Papageorgiou in the 66th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Thomás Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dorin Caloian fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s protests and gave Dorin Caloian a yellow card for diving instead. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Cristian Grozuță was substituted for Renos Papageorgiou. In the 69th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Caloian to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Ivan Stanciu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 76th minute Oskar Skoglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Stanciu's late challenge caught a ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Stanciu helped the player get up and apologised. Hannes Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Zgrăbunţa in the 84th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
