The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Simula Miner reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jorne Volders. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Vit Miner got a free kick in the 8th minute. Jorne Volders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Popcorn Miner, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute Popcorn Miner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorne Volders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM booed when Huracan United -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iraklis Pistolelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Huracan United -MM-'s Jorne Volders got control of the ball when Beat Miner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Postelnicescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Domuță in the 23rd minute of play. When CJ Zidane came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Huracan United -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that CJ Zidane couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Beat Miner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Huracan United -MM-'s goalkeeper Jorne Volders had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simula Miner. Popcorn Miner shot from long distance after 32 played minutes, a shot that Jorne Volders with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Simula Miner came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorne Volders could save by the left post. In the 35th minute, Marin Domuță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Postelnicescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 43rd minute Dragoş Grădinaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Postelnicescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marin Domuță to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Huracan United -MM-'s Gabriel Postelnicescu threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dragoş Grădinaru, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Huracan United -MM-'s Jorne Volders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simula Miner in the 55th minute of play. Marin Domuță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Gabriel Postelnicescu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Huracan United -MM-'s zone, Simula Miner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorne Volders came out of the goal and Simula Miner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorne Volders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beat Miner in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Gabriel Postelnicescu got control of the ball when Marin Domuță tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Postelnicescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Domuță in the 72nd minute. The supporters of CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM booed when Huracan United -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when CJ Zidane got free with Gabriel Postelnicescu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iraklis Pistolelis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dragoş Grădinaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Postelnicescu having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Beat Miner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorne Volders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM made a substitution. Salvator Miner replaced Popcorn Miner. For all the effort they put into the match, the Huracan United -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM.
