CJ Zidane received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niculae Rădvan came out and tried to block the shot, but CJ Zidane slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Zidane in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Huracan United -MM- defense, Horaţiu Pintilie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorne Volders. The Huracan United -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorne Volders should have stopped the shot. Niculae Rădvan made an important save on a dangerous shot by CJ Zidane in the 23rd minute. Niculae Rădvan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Domuță in the 27th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Dan Burdujan put in a rough tackle. In the 29th minute, one of FC PIETROSUL -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC PIETROSUL -MM-. FC PIETROSUL -MM-:s Niculae Rădvan showed great skill when he stopped Dragoş Grădinaru:s penalty. In the 34th minute, Aurelian Odobescu made a precise shot to the right of Jorne Volders. Huracan United -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Niculae Rădvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Sever Crăiniceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorne Volders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by CJ Zidane. FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Costin Pupăzan replaced Filip Braia. The supporters of FC PIETROSUL -MM- booed when Huracan United -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viorel Iacobescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viorel Iacobescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jorne Volders made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling CJ Zidane in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niculae Rădvan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute Aurel Teodoroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorne Volders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Huracan United -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aurelian Odobescu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. Jorne Volders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Teodoroiu in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute FC PIETROSUL -MM- were awarded a corner. Aurelian Odobescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristi Ciprian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jorne Volders made a huge save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Huracan United -MM-'s goalie and right to Sever Crăiniceanu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Huracan United -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Aurelian Odobescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niculae Rădvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Domuță in the 86th minute of the match. Cristi Ciprian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 98 minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iraklis Pistolelis who took care of the corner kick. Iraklis Pistolelis made a great header on Huracan United -MM-'s corner, it was just that FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan managed to reach the ball for a save.
