Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baal Ares took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baal Ares in the 5th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niculae Rădvan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luca Jivulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costin Pupăzan in the 10th minute. If Karadeniz Otay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute of the match, Costin Pupăzan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luca Jivulescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 15th minute, one of FC PIETROSUL -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC PIETROSUL -MM-. The referee gave Ares FC -MM- a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mao Bin Ao, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viorel Iacobescu got free with Luca Jivulescu in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Codin to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Karadeniz Otay came free, but Niculae Rădvan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Viorel Iacobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Jivulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurel Teodoroiu in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luca Jivulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute Baal Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Rădvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baal Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Karadeniz Otay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Niculae Rădvan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Emilian Şoimaru made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sever Crăiniceanu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Sandu Porumbescu was substituted for Emilian Şoimaru. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viorel Iacobescu was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Niculae Rădvan managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aurel Teodoroiu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Vrejiu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Karadeniz Otay struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Niculae Rădvan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ares FC -MM-. Costin Pupăzan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Luca Jivulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Cristi Ciprian replaced Viorel Iacobescu. Luca Jivulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Teodoroiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baal Ares in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niculae Rădvan saved FC PIETROSUL -MM- from getting behind. 72 minutes into the game, Filip Braia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ares FC -MM- the free kick. Ares FC -MM- made a substitution. Alin Brumaru replaced Karadeniz Otay. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Filip Braia hit a great ball. Ares FC -MM-'s Alin Brumaru shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Niculae Rădvan but with some difficulty. In the 84th minute Baal Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Filip Braia. Niculae Rădvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baal Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Baal Ares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ares FC -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 96 minutes into the match, Alin Brumaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niculae Rădvan. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alin Brumaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ares FC -MM- eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
