Ares FC -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Baal Ares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Chiriță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute Baal Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Chiriță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marcel Chiriță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Ares in the 14th minute of play. Marcel Chiriță didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baal Ares went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Marcel Chiriță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baal Ares, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Ares FC -MM- got a corner. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karadeniz Otay ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ares FC -MM-'s corner Karadeniz Otay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcel Chiriță quite easily take care of the ball. Marcel Chiriță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baal Ares's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Felix Vărzaru hit a great ball. Baal Ares might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Chiriță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baal Ares ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute Baal Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Chiriță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baal Ares might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Chiriță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baal Ares ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcel Chiriță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baal Ares in the 29th minute of play. Felix Vărzaru hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marcel Chiriță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baal Ares, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Marcel Chiriță, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baal Ares in the 39th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Marcel Chiriță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gigi Brânzaș hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Lucrețiu Cuculeanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel Chiriță skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Vărzaru to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th match minute, Ares FC -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mao Bin Ao to maneuver through the defense.
The wind increased when Baal Ares made the kick off in the second half. Baal Ares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Chiriță read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karadeniz Otay who took care of the corner kick. Karadeniz Otay made a great header on Ares FC -MM-'s corner, it was just that ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marcel Chiriță managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baal Ares in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Chiriță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 62 minutes, Baal Ares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ares FC -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Baal Ares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Lupea in the 63rd minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Baal Ares notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marcel Chiriță. Marcel Chiriță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baal Ares struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Marcel Chiriță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ares FC -MM-. Marcel Chiriță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baal Ares's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Chiriță narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Baal Ares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ares FC -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Baal Ares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Ares FC -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Eklund to maneuver through the defense. Luca Jivulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Brânzaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Baal Ares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Chiriță. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baal Ares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Marcel Chiriță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baal Ares in the 89th minute of the match. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marcel Chiriță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Ares in the 91st minute of play. Marcel Chiriță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baal Ares in the 93rd minute of play. When Baal Ares came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Ares FC -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baal Ares couldn't finish the play. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ares FC -MM-'s performance. The match ended with a win for Ares FC -MM-.
