Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Israel Faria made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Israel Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Seixas during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BIAMAR getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Matias Seixas hit a great ball. In the 29th match minute, BIAMAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Seixas to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Wahlnäs in the 44th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Faria was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, BIAMAR's Israel Faria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Caio Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Salvatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Israel Faria made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The supporters of BIAMAR booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! If Ceferino Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caio Guerreiro made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Salvatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Caio Guerreiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Caio Guerreiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BIAMAR fully deserved thier win.
