Güralp Uğurtan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nial Peyton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. In the 9th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Kolopetinitsa's Panos Tsabis got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 13th minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Güralp Uğurtan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Panos Tsabis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Panos Tsabis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panos Tsabis got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Panos Tsabis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Güralp Uğurtan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 27th minute of play. Güralp Uğurtan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kolopetinitsa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Colombia's Santino Seco to a score. 1-1 in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Nial Peyton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Güralp Uğurtan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panos Tsabis in the 43rd minute. Güralp Uğurtan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Panagiotis Kaliasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Panagiotis Kaliasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nial Peyton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theagenis Theodorakoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güralp Uğurtan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santino Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Axel Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Güralp Uğurtan. The goal made the score 3-2. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Kolopetinitsa made a substitution. Dimitris Botinos replaced Roberto-Carlos Carlos. After 70 played minutes Kolopetinitsa got a freekick which was hit by Nial Peyton. Güralp Uğurtan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Carballar in the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Tsabis came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Panagiotis Kaliasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Ignacio Mastache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Güralp Uğurtan. Kolopetinitsa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Mastache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 87 minutes into the match, Nial Peyton notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Güralp Uğurtan in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panagiotis Kaliasis in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Kolopetinitsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantinos Tsitsanis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kolopetinitsa's Theagenis Theodorakoglou got a free kick in the 95th minute. Kolopetinitsa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
