The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Wawrukiewicz in the 6th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Leonard Kaczanka threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Christian Sancho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 18 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zdzislaw Maziarz. Baboszewo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Edward Wawrukiewicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Edward Wawrukiewicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Baboszewo's Zdzislaw Maziarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdzislaw Maziarz was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Zdzislaw Maziarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 38th minute of the match. Baboszewo's Zdzislaw Maziarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Honduras booed when Baboszewo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Jeziorkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Zdzislaw Maziarz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Baboszewo's Zdzislaw Maziarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 86th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Baboszewo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Jeziorkowski to maneuver through the defense. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Zdzislaw Maziarz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Baboszewo's Leonard Kaczanka got a free kick in the 89th minute. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Zdzislaw Maziarz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
