Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Conni Viehl took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, Fc Schönhagen 1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pekko Biesenkamp to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 8th minute. Conni Viehl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. When Abel Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Abel Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conni Viehl succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonito Teufer, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Schönhagen 1's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anjo Gafus came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lautaro Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Erik Piller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Erik Piller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Piller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anjo Gafus having to interfere. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Anjo Gafus in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anjo Gafus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lautaro Puig showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 30 minute of play. Pekko Biesenkamp hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Schönhagen 1's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anjo Gafus came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. At last the ball reached Eliseo Noboa at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Fc Schönhagen 1. 2-2. Finn Guld kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Anjo Gafus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. In the 58th minute Bonito Teufer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 60th play minutes Conni Viehl shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Bonito Teufer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-4. Conni Viehl took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. After 73 minutes, Heiner Wirtz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Schönhagen 1 and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Fc Schönhagen 1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiner Wirtz to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conni Viehl. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Piller, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Fc Schönhagen 1 getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Pekko Biesenkamp hit a great ball. When the match was over Fc Schönhagen 1 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
