The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Alex Cambeiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Baboszewo getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Edward Wawrukiewicz hit a great ball. Zdzislaw Maziarz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Zdzislaw Maziarz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Wawrukiewicz to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zdzislaw Maziarz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Baboszewo's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Maziarz came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baboszewo's Zdzislaw Maziarz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 83rd minute of play forced Baboszewo's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Maziarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Redisz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Wawrukiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Baboszewo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
