Cheng Hao Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Peru got a corner. JEMBer UTara's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peru's Eliseo Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cheng Hao Wei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Paulino Cheche could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Paulino Cheche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Cheche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Cheche in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Cheng Hao Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Cheche came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheng Hao Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cheng Hao Wei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. JEMBer UTara's Cheng Hao Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play. Paulino Cheche struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JEMBer UTara.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cheng Hao Wei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Peru booed when JEMBer UTara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arcan Erakalın didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes, Peru's Luz Tejedor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cheng Hao Wei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peru reached it. A collision led to JEMBer UTara getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Lucas Eger hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Cheng Hao Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Aniol Peña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aniol Peña in the 77th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cheng Hao Wei made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Ren Dang hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Rafael Gallo spun around in front of the goal 90 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of JEMBer UTara's goal. After a rather tough play, JEMBer UTara's Rolly Salisbury got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Rafael Gallo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Cheng Hao Wei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. After having played for 97 minutes, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Gallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than JEMBer UTara.
