Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 3rd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Cordaro in the 5th minute. In the 6th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. After 11 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Tino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 20th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 25th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Adolfo Fidensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Tino saved Club El Progreso from getting behind. Colombia's Abram Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Tino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Colombia's Antonio Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adolfo Fidensio in the 33 minute of the game. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club El Progreso's zone, Joshua Garrido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Tino came out of the goal and Joshua Garrido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Tino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Benjamin Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Club El Progreso's Stephan Testaferrata Bonici slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rdth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Cordaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Benjamin Tino made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Kranevitter in the 61st minute of the match. Indiana Jones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Benjamin Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club El Progreso's Washington Papa was substituted for Adolfo Fidensio. Club El Progreso's Enzo Bot was substituted for Indiana Jones. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Cleto Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 73rd minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Abram Secada made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Tino. Club El Progreso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 85 minutes into the match, Abram Secada dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benjamin Tino, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Kranevitter in the 90th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
