Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, VIP's Ştefan Coșereanu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Berca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Berca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Camilo Franco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 9 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 12th minute. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Ţugui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Sebastian Ţugui put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Dumitru Berca made a huge save. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. VIP's Dumitru Berca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 78th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ştefan Coșereanu. VIP's attentive Ilie Buhuș managed to snatch the ball when Jorge Sainz made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. After 87 minutes, Francisco Seco made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. VIP's Dumitru Berca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Coșereanu came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ştefan Coșereanu in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. When VIP's Ştefan Coșereanu in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. 2-4 became the score in the 96th minute when Ştefan Coșereanu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Uruguay lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
