The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 宋夕轩, made in the 10th minute of the game. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boris Josefsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when 乔战光 sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arkadiusz Moizuk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, 石国庭 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 四川炁 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 柯海弘, made in the 58th minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
