Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) AZ Sidion Gravina's Qi Fei started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Natal Teruel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Beppe Natalucci, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qi Fei, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beppe Natalucci having to make a save. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Karl Bergkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Karl Bergkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Qi Fei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenz Klaßen in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 played minutes AZ Sidion Gravina got a freekick which was hit by Bud Spencer.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AZ Sidion Gravina booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Lorenz Klaßen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when AZ Sidion Gravina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenz Klaßen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl Bergkvists short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Beppe Natalucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bud Spencer hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. 88 minutes into the game, Qi Fei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Gisbert during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Lorenz Klaßen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AZ Sidion Gravina played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
