In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind GiaSiRo 08's goalkeeper Aldo Lemme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. GiaSiRo 08's Aldo Lemme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 15th minute of play. In the 25th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Lemme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonello Bellucci was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Mariano Lacasa sped through GiaSiRo 08's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aldo Lemme. In the 41st minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. GiaSiRo 08's Aldo Lemme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save GiaSiRo 08 from getting a goal against them. Orlando Casaus's late challenge caught a GiaSiRo 08's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Casaus helped the player get up and apologised. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Aldo Lemme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Chile walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
